At Leeds University Union, we work hard to represent your academic interests
Leeds University Union (LUU) is the students’ union at the University of Leeds.
We are an independent organisation that exists to represent students and their interests to the university, as well as on a local and national scale, giving them a voice on the things that matter to them.
But we do much more than that:
We help you love your time at Leeds
We represent your academic interests
We provide somewhere to relax and socialise on campus
We help you make friends and discover new activities
This website gives more detail about how we represent your academic interests:
Understand the improvement in academic experience we help create
Find out more about School, PGR and Course Representatives, and how to become one
Understand our relationship with the university
Find resources about Student Staff Partnership Forum, and find out students make their voices heard in this meeting
LUU can also help you with individual academic issues such as problems with your own studies, complaints and academic appeals. Head over to our Help and Support page to find out more. The Help and Support service is free and confidential, and because we are separate from the university it is completely impartial.
Browse through the website and if you want to read about other LUU activities, visit the main LUU website.
